100.3 THE SOUND TRAVEL AUSTRALIA TRIPS SWEEPSTAKES

OFFICIAL RULES

1. No Purchase Necessary. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS

NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

2. Dates/Eligibility. The Sweepstakes begins March 17th, 2010 and ends March 31st, 2010.

100.3 The Sound, KSWD (the “Station”) may change the dates or terms of the Sweepstakes,

including canceling the Sweepstakes, without prior notice. Any material changes will be posted

on a page at www.thesoundla.com (the “Site”). The Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of

California, 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees or agents of the Station,

Bonneville International Corporation, any entity associated with the sponsorship or

administration of the Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sponsors”) or any other television or radio

station that transmits a signal for reception anywhere in California, as well as members of the

same household of the employee or agent, may not participate. The phrase “members of the

same household” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents and grandchildren,

whether as in-laws or by current or past marriages, remarriages, adoption, co-habitation or other

family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household, whether or not related.

Winners of a prize in any contest or sweepstakes conducted by the Station during the 30-day

period immediately prior to the start of the Sweepstakes may not participate.

3. How to Enter. Beginning March 17th, 2010, and continuing until approximately 11:59

p.m., March 31st, 2010, visit www.australia.com/deals, follow the links to the Sweepstakes entry

page, complete the online entry form in its entirety and submit. In case of dispute, an entry will

be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of

entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail

address by an Internet Access Provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g.,

business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the

domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entries become the property of the

Sponsors and will not be returned. Automated entries are prohibited and any use of such

automated devices will cause disqualification. Sponsors and their advertising/promotional

agencies are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or stolen entries or transmissions

or problems of any kind, whether mechanical, human or electronic. Limit one entry per person

per email address.

4. Selection of Winners. On April 1st, 2010, representatives of the Station will select three

winners at random from all eligible entries received. If the Station determines that a winner is

ineligible or if a winner forfeits their prize, the Station will select an alternate winner at random

from all remaining eligible entries. This process will continue until three eligible winners are

found.

5. Prizes.

a. Three prizes will be awarded in the Sweepstakes. Each prize will consist of a trip

provided by Tourism Australia via Travel Partners. The first winner selected by the Station will

receive Trip #1, the second winner will receive Trip #2 and the third winner will receive Trip #3.

The trips are described as follows:

1. Trip #1 includes roundtrip coach international air transportation for two

from Los Angeles, California to Sydney, Australia, accommodations for two (double occupancy)

for five nights at a 3-star hotel and up to two touring options. Approximate retail value:

$2,598.00 plus taxes.

2. Trip #2 includes roundtrip coach international air transportation for two

from Los Angeles, California to Melbourne, Australia, accommodations for two (double

occupancy) for five nights at a 3-star hotel and up to two touring options. Approximate retail

value: $2,598.00 plus taxes.

3. Trip #3 includes roundtrip coach international air transportation for two

from Los Angeles, California to Brisbane, Australia, accommodations for two (double

occupancy) for five nights at a 3-star hotel and up to two touring options. Approximate retail

value: $2,598.00 plus taxes.

b. Prizes are not transferable, subject to substitution by the winners or redeemable

for cash, except at the discretion of the Station. Prizes do not include ground transportation,

travel insurance, hotel room service, parking fees, laundry service, food, alcoholic beverages,

merchandise, souvenirs, local or long distance telephone calls, tips, gratuities, service charges,

resort fees or taxes or any other charges not described in these rules. The Station reserves the

right to substitute any component of a prize with a component of comparable value should the

original component be unavailable, regardless of reason. Each winner will be required to

complete an IRS Form W-9 and each winner will receive an IRS Form 1099-Misc.

c. Flights must be requested at least 15 working days prior to your travel date. All

travel must be completed within 10 days from the date travel commences. Travel is confirmed

space, but seats are subject to availability at the time of booking. Changes to flight details once

booked will incur a $50 (AUD) change fee per guest per change. Travel must be taken between

May 15, 2010 and April 30, 2011. Some blackout periods may apply. Hotel and flights are

subject to availability. Travel is valid for the segments stated above only. Travel is subject to

schedule changes. Winner and their companion must travel on the same itinerary. Trips are not

escorted. Each winner is responsible for all airline taxes, surcharges and any other relevant fees.

All such taxes, surcharges and fees must be paid before tickets can be issued. Each winner is

responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including visas and passports. All

reservations for travel will be made through an agent designated by the Station.

6. Conditions/Restrictions. In exchange for the right to participate in the Sweepstakes,

each participant agrees to release and indemnify each of the Sponsors, and the officers, directors,

agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and employees of each of the Sponsors, for, from and

against any and all claims, demands or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever,

whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the participant’s

participation in the Sweepstakes. Entry into the Sweepstakes constitutes permission for each

Sponsor and its respective designees to use the name, likeness, portrait, voice and biographical

material of each participant for an unlimited period of time in order to advertise promote or

publicize the Sponsor, the products and services of any of its designees or both. Each winner

may be required to produce identification satisfactory to the Station and sign an affidavit of

eligibility and release (including a publicity release) as prepared by the Station. Anyone using

fraudulent means to participate in or win the Sweepstakes will be subject to disqualification. The

Sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone or other transmission

failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or incomplete, garbled or delayed

computer transmissions, regardless of cause. The Station reserves the right in its sole discretion,

to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes should a virus, bug or other problem beyond the control of

the Station corrupt the administration, security or proper execution of the Sweepstakes.

7. Rules. Copies of these rules are available at the Site, at the studios of the Station, located

at 5900 Wilshire Blvd. #1900, Los Angeles, California 90036, during regular business hours or

by sending a request, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to the Station at the address

above.
