1. Make space for coats in a closet or in a bedroom. Put out an extra rug or two in the entryway in case of wet shoes.

2. If using paper products, put plenty of trash containers around the house with extra trash bags in the bottom. When you pull out a full trash bag, another bag is then within an arm's reach.

3. If you have a dishwasher, make sure it is cleaned out before guests arrive so you can stash dirty dishes inside to stay ahead of the game.

4. Provide insulated can coolers or place sports themed stickers on cups so guests can identify their drinks.

5. Cover your food table with wax paper or butcher paper for easy cleanup.

6. Have a "cleaning bucket" ready for cleaning emergencies. Make sure to include carpet cleaner and an absorbent rag. A spot from a spilled drink is easy to clean if you are prepared in advance.

7. If the party involves all ages, have a room with toys and games where the children can play.

8. Provide televisions in other rooms so no one misses the action. Don't forget to put a radio in the bathroom!

9. Keep a clearly marked recycling bin within guests' reach for bottles and cans.

10. Place moist towelettes near appetizers since messy fingers have a tendency to roam at will.

"The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie" says Lambert. "It's to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would've been proud of." In the past Queen has gone on tour with ex Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers. This past November, they all performed together at the MTV EMAs in Belfast.

I wanted to be just like Carly Simon, so I taught myself to play her song, "Anticipation" on guitar. The only minor problem was that I couldn't sing - still can't carry a tune - so I decided just to talk for a living instead. :) But Carly's sensational songwriting, along with her beautiful voice and musicianship made a huge impression on me - her lyrics have been so relatable through the years. I've posted two videos of her performing "Anticipation" - one from 1972, just a few months after the album came out and the other from her magnificent concert on Martha's Vineyard in 1987. The Van Halen edition! Most of the news in today's RHN is about Van Halen, and the rest is mostly weird. So watch the video and be thoroughly Ed-ified.

One more sneaky vid from VH's record release party in Hollywood. Anybody else get goosebumps when you hear the first notes of "Unchained?" One break... coming up!
