Watch Bono and The Edge Perform "One" At Canada Day Celebration

July 5, 2017

U2 wrapped up the first leg of the Joshua Tree 30th anniversary tour Saturday in Cleveland. Those 21 shows will be followed by nine in Europe -- starting Saturday in London and ending August 1st in Brussels. Then they have nine more U.S. dates, from September 3rd in Detroit through September 22nd in San Diego.

Before Saturday night's show in Cleveland, Bono and The Edge were in Ottawa, Canada for Canada Day festivities in celebration of that country's 150th anniversary.

Bono was full of praise for the member of the British Commonwealth. He said, “When others build walls, you open doors; when others divide, your arms are open wide; where you lead, others follow. That’s the real reason The Edge and myself are here today.” He then repeated the message in French before they did "One" acoustic for the upwards of 50,000 people gathered on Parliament Hill.
